第二届应用语言学学术讨论会于1992年5月8日至10日在湖北省随州市举行。会议由中国社会科学院语言文字应用研究所语言应用研究室和湖北大学行政管理系联合主办。这是继1990年首届应用语言学术讨论会(苏州)之后的又一次聚会。 讨论会旨在围绕国家语言文字工作的方针、政策和任务开展讨论,从应用语言学各分支学科的角度出发进行研究,以期建构应用语言学总体的理论框架,为该学科的发展做出贡献。 与会者共30余人,宣讲论文28篇。出席会议的除少数几位老专家外,大部分是中青年同志,老、中、青济济一堂,气氛祥和而又融洽。与会者畅所欲言,各抒己见,讨论踊跃、热烈。
The 2nd Applied Linguistics Symposium was held in Suizhou, Hubei Province from May 8 to May 10, 1992. Meeting by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Language and Literature Application Laboratory and Hubei University, Department of Administration jointly organized. This is yet another gathering after the first Applied Linguistic Symposium (Suzhou) in 1990. The purpose of the seminar is to discuss the principles, policies and tasks of the national language work, and to conduct a research from the perspectives of various branches of applied linguistics in order to build the theoretical framework of applied linguistics and contribute to the development of this subject. A total of more than 30 participants, preaching 28 papers. Except for a few experts who attended the meeting, most of them were young and middle-aged comrades. The old, middle and young people gathered together in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. Participants spoke freely, expressed their opinions and discussed actively and enthusiastically.
