(一) 麝香的成分与药理麝香Moschus别名射父、香麝,系脊椎动物哺乳类鹿科Cervidae动物牡麝Moschus Moschiferus及同类动物的体内分泌物,为中国特产珍贵药物之一,其产量占全世界百分之八十以上.我国的西藏地方以及甘肃、陕西、四川、云南、山西、东北、广西各省均有出产.历来外销英、美、法、德、日诸国,作为配制香料的原料,为数甚多,在国际贸易上居重要地位,为世界各国所赞许.公元1898年,英国曾一度收入国家药典.我国历史上最早的本草书——神农本草经把它列为上品,赏用于中医临床上,为名贵的兴奋药.
