According to the China Business Daily, the “fishing regulations” set forth by the United States have been detailed in many states to the level of “cumbersome”. Take Maryland’s Fishing Law as an example. In total, there are more than 50 provisions, including the need for a “fishing license” to allow for fishing in the wild. There should be no barbs on the hooks (so as not to increase the “pain” of the fish when taking the fish from the hooks), and fishes less than 12.7 cm long are not allowed to lay their eggs. Certain sections of the river are restricted to fishing for disabled persons and so on. At first glance these terms seem a bit trivial, or even funny, but think carefully but reveal the light of reason.
