《陕西金融·清钱专辑》(16)第69页刊有郑宜忠作《咸丰边“永”与铁钱》与第89页李金平作《咸丰大钱和边砸字钱》二文,分别称“宝福局咸丰通宝背‘一百’大钱一枚,背轮上正中小字‘永’阴文,似后戳(附拓图)”和“宝福局咸丰通宝和重宝在外部郭上砸文字,面背皆有,无一定方位,有‘王’、‘E’、‘O’、‘非’、‘口’、‘九’、‘上’、‘仁’、和一光芒四射的‘太阳’等文字或图案(均未附拓图)。以上二文,均未说明砸字的来由。我亦集有宝福局咸丰重宝背一十、二十各一枚,背外廓正中稍偏左在同一方位各砸有一阴文“吉”字,都已趋向平夷,拓印不出。有的泉友见了上述文章和钱币,误以为系清末某些秘密会社所加盖的暗记。
