全球每年由于农作物发生病害造成的经济损失高达600亿美元,但由于农作物病害的多样性,病害的检测和防治一直缺乏通用高效的手段和方法。日前,由我国与爱尔兰都柏林大学合作研制的一种新型生物芯片能成功解决这一难题,这种新型生物芯片可以高效快速地检测农作物上百种植物病毒和类病毒感染。
The global annual economic losses due to crop diseases are as high as 60 billion U.S. dollars. Due to the diversity of crop diseases, there is a lack of common and efficient means and methods for disease detection and prevention. Recently, a new type of biochip developed by our country and the University of Dublin in Ireland successfully solved this problem. This new type of biochip can rapidly and efficiently detect over 100 kinds of plant viruses and virus-like viruses in crops.
