外贸发展形势喜人 1995年我国进出口总额2808.5亿美元,比上年增长18.6％;实行开放政策17年,每年平均增长16.6％,其中“八五”期间进出口总额累计比“七五”期间增长1倍。中国在世界贸易中的位次由第32位上升到第10位。1995年底我国外汇结存达736亿美元。进出口商品结构进一步优化,工业制成品占出口比重1978年为45％;1990年为75％;1995年为86％。机电产品出口额1995年439亿美元,超过纺织品,占出口总额比重提高到29.5％,成为我国最大出口商品类别。贸易方式更加多样化,现汇贸易成为主要方式,同时发展了多边转口贸易、来料加工贸易。技术进口有较大改善,在结构、数量、质量方面,以及对前景产业的作用等方面均有积极作用。出口技术市场扩大到50多个国家和地区。
The situation of foreign trade was gratifying. In 1995, China’s total import and export volume reached 280.85 billion U.S. dollars, up 18.6% over the previous year. In its 17-year opening-up policy, the average annual growth rate was 16.6%. The total import and export volume during the “Eighth-Five-Year Plan” period increased more than that during the “Seventh Five-Year Plan” 1 times. China’s ranking in world trade rose from No. 32 to No. 10. By the end of 1995, China’s foreign exchange balance reached 73.6 billion U.S. dollars. The structure of import and export commodities was further optimized. The proportion of manufactured products in exports was 45% in 1978, 75% in 1990 and 86% in 1995. Export of electromechanical products reached 439 billion U.S. dollars in 1995, surpassing that of textiles, accounting for 29.5% of the total export volume, making it the largest export commodity category in China. Trade is more diversified and cash trade is the main mode of development. Meanwhile, multilateral re-export trade and processing trade have been developed. The import of technology has been greatly improved with a positive effect on the structure, quantity, quality and the role of the prospect industry. Export technology market expanded to more than 50 countries and regions.
