What is particularly rare is that many editors have a sense of urgency about some of the issues that are prevalent in our society at the present time, and they are deeply involved in the dance productions, which can arouse the resonance of many audiences. As one of the two major projects of the 10th China Arts Festival, the 16th Star Awards Dance Class Final was held in October 2013 in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Thirteen square dance productions and 76 stage dance productions from all over the country took part in the final competition. In five competitions, the various groups of band dance dancers, with full confidence and a hundredfold passion, presented carefully prepared dance works to the China Arts Festival and demonstrated the fruitful achievements of the nation’s bandan dance workers over the past three years.
