目前,国内移动运营商已全面实现了由2G向2.5G的过渡,数据业务承载能力得到全面提高,移动数据业务正朝着多媒体方向发展。在国内3G牌照尚未发放的情况下,如何有效利用现有的2.5G网络开展手机电视等移动流媒体业务,为未来的3G培育市场,成为摆在国内移动运营企业面前的重要课题。为此,近两年来,中国移动和中国联通都将目光投向了手机电视市场,积极开展手机电视业务试验,加快手机电视业务市场推广,手机电视业务已成为业界关注的热点。
At present, the domestic mobile operators have fully realized the transition from 2G to 2.5G, and the carrying capacity of data services has been improved in an all-round way. The mobile data services are moving towards the direction of multimedia. Under the situation that domestic 3G licenses have not yet been issued, how to effectively utilize the existing 2.5G network to carry out mobile streaming media services such as mobile TV and cultivate the market for 3G in the future has become an important issue for domestic mobile operators. For this reason, in the recent two years, both China Mobile and China Unicom have turned their attention to the mobile TV market. They are actively conducting mobile TV trials and accelerating the marketing of mobile TV services. The mobile TV business has become a hot spot in the industry.
