The CT prediction method of intervertebral pedicle distance in the thoracolumbar region and the effect of pedicle distance measured by this method on the recovery of vertebral height in pedicle screw fixation were reported. CT scan of 78 cases of non-thoracic lumbar spine lateral T1 0 ~ S1, measured by CT software found that the lower vertebral vertebral vertebral line segment midpoint to the vertebral body of an interphalangeal lower edge line segments The distance between the point and the upper edge of the lower vertebral vertebral line segment midpoint to the lower vertebral body vertebrae of the upper edge of the midpoint of the distance between the points approximately equal to the normal distance between the transpedicular pedicle. This rule is actually applied to the determination of the nail spacing in the pedicle screw fixation of thoracolumbar spine fractures. Results 51 cases of thoracolumbar fractures through the application of this method, 49 cases of vertebral height completely restored. That the use of pedicle screw fixation of thoracolumbar spine fractures, in order to better restore the correct height of the injured vertebra, it is necessary to predict by CT to achieve the nail spacing
