Hundreds of primary school students in Shanxian County of Shandong Province took “Iodine Calcium Nutrient tablets” and caused adverse reactions. General Secretary Jiang Zemin expressed his concern over this incident and instructed the relevant departments to take prompt measures to rescue the pupils while punishing lawless elements who, according to law, should not forgetfulness.
