铝和铝合金可以用熔点比其较低的铝-硅钎焊合金钎焊连接。连接铝合金的主要障碍是氧化膜,它妨碍着熔融焊料有效地润湿基体金属。为了解决这个矛盾,目前人们采用的办法是使用熔剂、化学腐蚀和机械法去除氧化膜。然而,这些方法中没有一种能防止新鲜的铝表面在大气中立即自行再氧化。新近研制出一种焊前处理法,它适用于在隋性气体或真空条件下,无熔剂钎焊普通铝合金。
Aluminum and aluminum alloys can be brazed with their lower aluminum-silicon brazing alloys. The main obstacle to connecting the aluminum alloy is the oxide film, which prevents the molten solder from effectively wetting the base metal. In order to solve this contradiction, the current approach is to use flux, chemical etching and mechanical removal of oxide film. However, none of these methods prevent fresh aluminum surfaces from reoxidizing themselves immediately in the atmosphere. Recently developed a pre-welding method, which is suitable for inert gas or vacuum conditions, flux-free brazing ordinary aluminum alloy.
