19世纪90年代前半期经过明治维新的日本由于国内政治、经济危机日益加深与激化,促使日本军国主义走向战争冒险。首先将矛头对准了与其一衣带水的中国。从中日甲午战争日军在荣成湾登陆揭开了日本入侵山东的序幕,直到第二次世界大战结束,山东这块美丽富饶的河山饱受日本军国主义的蹂躏,日本帝国主义的铁蹄几乎踏遍了山东大地,制造了无数的惨案,但同时也激发了山东人民不可征服的伟大力量。山东的爱国志士表现出惊天地、泣鬼神的爱国精神,涌现出无数为国为民族甘愿牺牲,以死为荣的抗日烈士。半个世纪中,中国没有被瓜分被灭亡,山东大地没有被日本帝国主义征服,最主要的原因就是山东人民和全国人民团结一致,高举爱国主义旗帜,百折不挠、英勇抗战的结果。
In the first half of the 1890s, after Japan’s Meiji Restoration, due to deepening and intensifying domestic political and economic crises, Japan’s militarism led the advent of the war. The patriots in Shandong showed astonishing earthquakes and sobs and spirits of patriotism. Many anti-Japanese martyrs who proudly sacrificed their lives for their country and died proudly of their deaths emerged. In the past half century, China has not been divided and perished but its ground has not been conquered by Japanese imperialism. The most important reason for this is the result of unite and unity of the people of Shandong and the people of the entire country in holding high the banner of patriotism, perseverance and heroic resistance.
