永定河绿色生态发展带工程总投资170亿元,到2014年建成长170km、面积1500km2的生态走廊。石景山区莲石湖项目,是永定河绿色生态发展带建设首批启动的5项工程之一。莲石湖建成后将流经石景山至京原桥一线,长4.3km,水面106hm2,计划在其周边建设2处生态湿地性景观湖,以及3大不同主题的滩地休闲运动景观,预计于2011年9月底竣工。
