阅读是学习获取知识的重要手段。但是,传统的英语阅读教学过分强调单词、词组和句子,而忽略了对文章内容和结构的整体把握。更糟的事,由于缺乏丰富多样的教学手段,枯燥乏味的“填鸭式”教学模式已经大大抹杀了学生的兴趣和能动性。在当今信息时代,多媒体网络技术的广泛应用为以电脑为手段的语言教学(CALL)开辟了崭新的天地。有鉴于此,作者在本文充分论证运用多媒体和网络工具优化大学英语阅读和课堂教学的的意义。
Reading is an important means of learning to acquire knowledge. However, the traditional English reading teaching overemphasizes words, phrases and sentences while ignoring the overall grasp of the content and structure of the essay. Worse, due to the lack of a variety of teaching methods, dull “spoon-fed ” teaching mode has greatly denied the students interest and initiative. In today’s information age, the widespread use of multimedia network technology opens up a whole new world of computer-assisted language instruction (CALL). In view of this, the author in this article fully demonstrate the use of multimedia and network tools to optimize the meaning of college English reading and classroom teaching.
