After the failure of the Great Revolution in 1927, our party launched the Nanchang Uprising, which aroused the start of the “August First” at home and abroad, and launched the first shot of armed opposition to the KMT’s mobilization. The ranks of Nanchang Uprising not only annihilated the enemy in Jiangxi but also hit Guangdong. In addition, they also left footprints in the western Fujian. However, the recent discussion of the history of Nanchang’s rebel forces campaign usually only described the failure of Jiangxi’s first incident and that of Guangdong, but seldom mentioned the activities of entering the western Fujian province, or only had a single incident. Since the rebellion marched into western Fujian, many people and things worth noticing appeared. Since Fujian was one of the three provinces under the action of the rebel forces, its activities in Fujian were an indispensable part of the campaign of the rebel forces Therefore, it is necessary to explore and study this period of history. This article intends to start by collecting and arranging the historical materials in this respect, clarifying the process of the Nanchang Uprising troops marching into western Fujian and giving a preliminary assessment.
