On August 1, 1948, a nationwide working class event was held in Zhaolin Film Theater, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, the Sixth National Labor Assembly. Northeast Post and Telecommunications Administration issued two commemorative stamps for the conference. One is the “free mail envelope” for celebrating workers’ congresses in the People’s Liberated Areas, and the other three are commemorative stamps for celebrating the sixth labor conference (Figures 1 and 2).
