词汇是语言最基本的组成部分,是学习英语的关键。如今大部分教师脱离语境孤立地进行词汇教学,这种教学方式很容易令学生失去学习兴趣,也不利于牢固地记忆单词。近年来,很多学者关注语境理论在英语词汇教学中的应用。因此本文着重探讨在初中英语词汇教学中如何应用语境理论,进而提高学生的学习兴趣和能力。
Vocabulary is the most basic part of language and is the key to learning English. Most teachers nowadays carry out vocabulary teaching in isolation from the context. This teaching method can easily make students lose their interest in learning or memorize words firmly. In recent years, many scholars pay attention to the application of context theory in English vocabulary teaching. Therefore, this article focuses on how to apply context theory in junior high school English vocabulary teaching so as to improve students’ interest in learning and their ability.
