Scientists advise boxers: Boxing injury wakes up genes that make people crazy. It is the fate many boxers may encounter because their heads are hit so hard by ending their lives in dementia madness. Now, people already know that there are also genetic reasons. In order to study this etiology, there are two things to know: First, many former boxers have had boxing dementia similar to Alzheimer’s disease (Alzheimer’s) and eventually end their lives in dementia, Muhammad Ali, a former boxer, is by no means the only example in this regard, as it is estimated that about 10% to 50% of professional boxers are destined to get this dementia. The second is that those with their own genes called apolipoprotein hemolysin 4 are more likely to get Alzheimer’s disease than others. A Los Angeles neurologist, Dr. Barry Jordan, advocates the examination of boxer DNA, a genetic material. He put forward: hemolysin 4 gene will make boxers easy dementia. This is particularly true for those with two types of hemolysin 4 gene, and they are highly likely to have dementia even though they have not been hit hardest.
