山西是内陆农业省,农业人口占全省人口的80%以上。因此,山西教育发展的难点不在城市,而在农村。如何搞好农村基础教育,实现农村教育现代化,是整个山西教育事业发展的重中之重。农村中小学教育质量的高低,不仅直接关系到山西省农村青少年德、智、体、美的全面发展,而且关系到全省乃至国家各级各类人才的培养和全民族素质的提高。那么,如何发展农村基础教育提高国民素质呢?
Shanxi is an inland agricultural province, and the agricultural population accounts for more than 80% of the population in the province. Therefore, the difficulty in the development of education in Shanxi is not in cities, but in rural areas.
