American Analog Devices Inc. introduced a new high-speed operational amplifier - the AD8099, which minimizes the two fundamental sources of error (voltage noise and harmonic distortion) in amplifier designs. The AD8099 uses a patented advanced circuit architecture that enables it to meet the basic performance of the traditional differential op-amp input stage without sacrificing its inherent performance. This allows the AD8099 to deliver extremely low voltage noise (0.95nV / (Hz) ~ (1/2)) while providing very low distortion (-90dB at 10MHz fundamental) Has a 1600V / μs slew rate and a 5GHz gain bandwidth product for 10 conditions. When the gain is reduced to 2, the slew rate is 600V / μs.
