萧山县城厢镇是一座古老县城,自唐朝天宝元年建成,迄今已有一千二百多年的历史。全镇东西长3公里,南北最宽处2.5公里;距杭州仅20公里,座落在浙赣、萧甬线的叉道口,内河连通钱塘江,处于杭州前街的交通枢钮要位。
Zhenxiang Town in Xiaoshan County is an ancient county town. It was built in the first year of Tangbao in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,200 years. The town is 3 kilometers from east to west and 2.5 kilometers from the north and south at its widest point. It is only 20 kilometers away from Hangzhou and is located at the fork crossing of the Zhejiang-Jiangxi and Xiaojian lines. The inland river connects the Qiantang River to the traffic hub of Hangzhou Qianjie.
