The experimental results of X-ray powder diffraction, FTIR, thermal analysis and BET specific surface area show that the interlayer Ca2 + of the aluminum-crosslinked rectorite is replaced by the polymerized aluminum cross-linked column, and the height of the stratum is increased to 0.62nm, The surface area increases, and the selective adsorption of phosphate in aqueous solution is obvious, and the removal rate of phosphorus can be increased by more than three times. The selective adsorption mechanism of the phosphate on the crosslinked rectorite is also discussed.
