隐喻不仅仅是一种修辞现象,更是人类的一种普遍思维方式、一种认知手段。隐喻能力对于语言能力的掌握、交际能力的提高,都具有十分重要的意义。隐喻为人类提供了认识事物的新视角,隐喻理论为英语教学开辟了新的研究领域。在英语教学中,教师要明确引导学生认识和理解语言的隐喻性,注重培养学生的隐喻思维能力。在培养学生隐喻思维的同时,我们要积极引导学生注意区别英汉隐喻意义的文化内涵的异同,以利于对英汉两种文化的掌握,消除跨文化交际中理解和沟通的障碍。利用隐喻来教学可以取得良好的教学效果。
Metaphor is not only a rhetorical phenomenon, but also a universal way of thinking and a cognitive measure of mankind. Metaphorical ability to grasp the language skills, improve communication skills, are of great significance. Metaphor provides a new perspective of human understanding of things, metaphor theory for English teaching has opened up new areas of research. In English teaching, teachers should clearly guide students to understand and understand the metaphorical language, focusing on students’ metaphorical thinking ability. While cultivating students’ metaphorical thinking, we should actively guide students to pay attention to the differences between the cultural connotations of metaphorical meaning in English and Chinese so as to facilitate the mastery of English and Chinese cultures and to eliminate the barriers to understanding and communication in cross-cultural communication. Teaching with metaphor can achieve good teaching results.
