汽车用发动机的冷却方式有风冷和水冷两种,但大部分采用水冷式。水冷式用水泵循环冷却水,能有效地冷却燃烧室周围的气缸盖、气缸套等高温部分,因冷却发动机各发热零部件而温度上升了的冷却水一般要通过散热器用空气再进行冷却。与此相反,本文研究的冷却方式是利用水的汽化潜热很大这一性质(水的汽化潜热为539kcal/kg)的所谓“汽化冷却方式”。这种冷却方式是使充满在发动机水套内的冷却液汽化,从高温部分吸收热量。产生的蒸气在冷凝器内凝结、放热,再作冷却液使用。这种方式曾在战斗机用发动机上进行应用研
There are two kinds of cooling methods of automobile engines, air-cooled and water-cooled, but most adopt water-cooled type. The water-cooled pump circulates cooling water, which effectively cools the hot parts such as the cylinder head and the cylinder liner around the combustion chamber. The cooling water whose temperature has risen due to cooling of the heating parts of the engine generally passes through the radiator and is then cooled by the air. On the contrary, the cooling method studied in this paper is the so-called “vaporization cooling method” which takes advantage of the large latent heat of vaporization of water (the latent heat of vaporization of water is 539 kcal / kg). This type of cooling is to vaporize the coolant filled in the engine water jacket and to absorb heat from the hot part. The resulting vapor condenses in the condenser, radiates heat, and is used as a coolant. This method has been used in fighter engine research
