(2000年3月30日广东省第九届人民代表大会常务委员会第十七次会议通过) 第一条为继承和发扬中医药学,促进中医事业的发展,适应人民群众医疗保健的需求,根据宪法和有关法律、法规,结合本省实际,制定本条例。第二条在本省行政区域内从事中医(包括中西医结合、民族医)医疗、预防、保健以及中医药教育、科研等活动,适用本条例。第三条各级人民政府必须贯彻中西医并重的方针,把发展中医事业纳入国民经济和社会发展计划及区域卫生规划,并将发展中医事业经费纳入财政预算,逐步增加投入,保障中医事业的发展。第四条积极利用境外资金和捐助发展中医事业。鼓励企业事业组织、社会团体和个人以各种形式支持发展中医事业。第五条省卫生(中医)行政部门主管全省的中医工作。市、县(区)卫生行政部门应当配备中医药专职管理人员。

Article 3 The people’s governments at all levels must implement the principle of equal emphasis on traditional Chinese and western medicine, incorporate the development of traditional Chinese medicine in the national economic and social development plans and regional health plans, incorporate the funds for the development of Chinese medicine into the financial budget, and gradually increase investment to safeguard the development of traditional Chinese medicine . Article 4 Actively utilize overseas funds and donate to develop the cause of Chinese medicine. Encourage enterprises and institutions, social organizations and individuals to support the development of Chinese medicine in all its forms. Article 5 The provincial health (TCM) administrative department is in charge of the work of Chinese medicine in the province. The municipal, county (district) health administrative departments should be equipped with full-time Chinese medicine managers.
