公元前139年,张骞“凿空”西域,从此欧亚大陆上有了一条“丝绸之路”。西汉长安,也就是现在的陕西西安,开始成为“丝绸之路”的东方起点,中亚、西亚的各国使节、客商云集于此,从吃的水果、核桃到用的玻璃、香料,出现在西市街头,而中原的瓷器、丝绸等物品则辗转运往中亚。2000多年来,“丝绸之路”见证了经贸、文化的交流。
