(一) 由于铬铁矿赋存于特殊的地质条件和具有独特的地球物理特征,其找矿方法一直是人所共注的。目前,常用的地质勘探配合以重、磁勘探方法,多因物探方法各自的局限性造成多数矿区不能达到缩小靶区进而圈定矿体之目的。许多单位摸索应用常规激电找铬铁矿,其效果也不够理想。如何在复杂山区用物探方法有效地寻找铬铁矿呢?1972年以来,我们试用激电场变特性方法寻找铬铁矿床,取得了一定的效果。
