机床噪声是影响我国机床大量出口的关键之一。为此广州机床厂等单位对提高出口产品质量，在降低机床噪声方面做了不少工作，并取得了一定成绩。同时亦发现了像轴承、电机等配套件的质量好坏对机床噪声大小影响较大。下面就是他们试验中发现的问题。为扩大我国机床出口量，这些问题就需要有关配套部门协调解决，共同提高。
