第8届亚洲语言认知加工国际会议于1997年12月1~4日在日本名古屋大学召开。其前身是中国语文认知国际会议。根据第7届与会代表的建议,第8届会议由日本名古屋大学筹办,会议名称更改为“第8届亚洲语言认知加工国际会议暨脑、认知与沟通研讨会”。出席会议的有来自日、中、美、英等11个国家的代表约100人。会议邀请了国际著名心理学家、神经科学家和语言学家W.Kintsch教授(Boulder),A.Yamadori教授,J.Mehler(CNRS)和Jun-ichi Jsuii教授作了4场专题报告。会议收到论文73篇,内容涉及到言语产生与知觉、视觉词汇加工,语音、语义加工和句子理解,语言的神经心理学研究和语言的计算机模拟等。以下就当前语言认知研究中的热点问题作一概述。
The 8th International Conference on Asian Cognitive Processing was held on January 1-4, 1997 in Nagoya, Japan. Its predecessor was the International Conference on Chinese Language Recognition. According to the proposal of the 7th delegate, the 8th session was organized by Nagoya University in Japan and the name of the conference was changed to “The 8th International Conference on Cognitive Processing in Asian Languages and Seminars on Brain, Cognition and Communication”. About 100 people attended the meeting from 11 countries including Japan, China, the United States, and Britain. The conference invited four world-renowned psychologists, neuroscientists and linguists Prof. W. Kintsch, A. A. Yamadori, J. Mehler (CNRS) and Prof. Jun-ichi Jsuii to make 4 special presentations. The conference received 73 papers, covering the production and perception of speech, visual vocabulary processing, speech, semantic processing and sentence understanding, language, neuropsychological research and computer simulation of language. The following is a summary of the current hot issues in language cognitive research.
