随着斯诺克运动在中国逐渐兴起,相关术语的翻译也成了一项重要课题。斯诺克术语的汉译应该遵循准确、简洁、易懂的原则,根据术语本身的特点采用音译、直译、意译等方法,让受众容易理解和接受。斯诺克术语的汉译体现了体育词汇翻译的某些问题,译者应着力排除“一词多译”现象的干扰,扩大体育知识储备,避免误译。
With the gradual rise of the snooker movement in China, the translation of related terms has also become an important topic. The Chinese translation of snooker terminology should follow the principles of accuracy, conciseness and comprehensibility. It uses the methods of transliteration, literal translation and free translation according to the characteristics of the terminology to make it easy for the audience to understand and accept. The Chinese version of snooker reflects some problems in the translation of sports vocabulary. The translator should try to eliminate the interference of the phenomenon of “more than one” and expand the reserve of sports knowledge to avoid mistranslation.
