In the underground of the city, underground pipelines criss-cross. If the construction is blind, the damage is often momentary, but the consequences are quite serious: disrupting a large area of production and life, and causing economic losses. The following are a few examples that occurred in big cities; on February 23, 1990, when drilling at a residential construction site on Yuehua Road in Guangzhou City, all three communication cables buried underground were drilled, resulting in the site, including the provincial public security department.
