目的建立Twin-block矫治器系统的三维有限元模型,以便模拟Twin-block矫治器的工作状态和进一步探讨Twin-block矫治器的矫治机理。方法选一名处于青春生长高峰期、Ⅱ类骨性错牙合的儿童的颅面骨以及Twinblock矫治器作为标本,CT扫描所得的DICOM数据直接输入到Mimics软件中建立包括完整天然牙列,颞下颌关节(temporomandibular joint,TMJ)和Twin-block矫治器的三维实体模型,并对其进行网格划分,进一步建立Twin-block矫治器系统的三维有限元模型。结果建立了相似性较高的Twin-block矫治器系统的三维有限元模型。结论该模型有较好的几何相似性,为研究Twin-block矫治器的矫治机理提供了有利条件,为TMJ及下颌骨的力学研究提供了相似性好的三维有限元模型。
Objective To establish a three-dimensional finite element model of Twin-block appliance system in order to simulate the working condition of Twin-block appliance and to further explore the treatment mechanism of Twin-block appliance. Methods A craniofacial bone and Twinblock appliance were selected at the peak of adolescence and Class Ⅱ bony malocclusion. The DICOM data obtained by CT scan were directly input into the Mimics software to establish the complete natural dentition, Dimensional solid model of TMJ and Twin-block appliances, and mesh them. The 3D finite element model of Twin-block appliance system was further established. Results Three-dimensional finite element model of Twin-block appliance system with high similarity was established. Conclusion The model has good geometric similarity and provides favorable conditions for the study of Twin-block appliance correction mechanism. It provides a good three-dimensional finite element model for TMJ and mandibular mechanical study.
