A graduate student at the Einhorn School of Design in the Netherlands developed a bioluminescent luminaire that glows with bacteria. As long as gently shaking, it will emit a strange blue light. This is a cool lamp in comparison to all luminaires that are powered by power, which is filled with artificial seawater and bacteria collected from the octopus. These bacteria rely on bacterial luciferase
