通过对克山病病区和非病区儿童红细胞和发硒含量的测定,以及血小板的电镜观察,发现处于低硒状态的病区儿童血小板超微结构明显异常:盘状血小板数减少,变形和团聚血小板所占比例显著增高;拥挤成团的血小板膜融合或紧密联接;细胞器呈非特异性溶解状,α-颗粒和致密颗粒电子密度均降低;α-颗粒数显著减少,致密颗粒数无明显变化。结果表明,克山病病区低硒儿童血小板处于激活状态。
