压铅杆(图1)是我厂锻造车间一个关键件。其主要困难是头部直径太大锻比不够,起重设备锻锤能力都受限制。但是,工人们以敢想敢干的共产主义风格终于克服了重重困难。因锤与起重设备能力都不足,只好选用3.1吨钢锭。但它的大头才有600毫米,所以就开坯后锻出头部(一锭取两个毛坯见圆2),这样不但解决了设备吊车问题,而且也保征了锻比。但由于锻件太高,再加上工具高560毫米、头部厚度250毫米,总高就有810毫米。而下砧到
