Sinopec Zhongyuan Oilfield Base is located in Puyang City, Henan Province. The total employment of the company is 88,000 and the family members of the workers are 240,000. The major exploration and development areas include Dongpu Depression, Puguang Gas Field and Inner Mongolia Exploration Area. Dongpu Depression crosses over 12 counties (districts) in 6 cities of Henan and Shandong provinces and has the ability to maintain 3 million tons of oil-gas equivalent per year during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period. Puguang Gas Field is located in Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. It is the gas source of the Sichuan-East Gas Transmission Project.
