咸丰宝陕局大钱有当十、当五十、当百、当五百、当千等五种,丁福保编著的《古钱大辞典》《历代古钱图说》以及孙仲汇的《简明钱币辞典》等钱录收载的咸丰宝陕局大钱图谱仅同一种版式,当五百、当千因较罕见未发现更多的版式,当十、当五十、当百宝陕局大钱笔者除上述谱录收刊的版式外还收藏有另一种版别.现将这种版式拓图介绍如下.拓图1咸丰重宝当十大钱,世传较多,其字体与其它宝陕局大钱截然不同.清代铸钱文字多出自工匠之手,独咸丰钱币计昧文工,书字多出自名人,故而钱文隽秀劲美堪称清钱一绝.宝陕局大钱也不例外,唯图1咸丰当十钱异于其它,文字不工似出自工匠.这种宝陕当十大钱与背“陕十”宝陕当十钱铸工文字一脉相通同出一辙,可能系同炉所铸.这种铸2文字风格的大钱,在宝陕局大钱中仅此一例.
