唐宋时期敦煌的教育体制大致有官学和私学两种,官学指州、县学;私学指家学、义学、寺学等。官学主要进行的是儒家教育,为国家培育科举入仕的人才;私学则主要承担了敦煌地区启蒙教育与中等教育的任务。历史时期敦煌社会“人生仪礼”的核心是文化认同,而教育消费则是这种认同的外化形式之一。
Dunhuang education system in Tang and Song dynasties generally have two kinds of official and private learning, official school refers to state, county school; private school refers to home economics, etiquette, temple and so on. Official studies are mainly carried out Confucian education, for the country to cultivate imperial examination talents; private school is mainly responsible for Dunhuang Enlightenment and secondary education tasks. The historical core of Dunhuang society “life ritual ” is cultural identity, and education and consumption is one of the external forms of this identity.
