在二十世纪七十年代,国外的文学作品当中有一部有着特殊意义的作品,它对于当时的社会产生了很大的影响,那就是《最蓝的眼睛》一书,其作者就是美国著名的女作家托妮·莫里森,此书一出就受到了一些批评家的严厉指责,学校以及家长都对此书进行了抵制在当时《最蓝的眼睛》一书也得到了查禁,此书所展示的是白人强势文化的冲击之下对于黑人的心灵所造成迷失的这一悲剧。在一九九三年此书的作者托妮·莫里森获得了文学奖项的最高荣誉——诺贝尔文学奖。这也是第一位非洲裔的黑人女作家得到了这样一个荣誉。本文主要从白人强势文化下黑人性的遗失和保留的角度对于《最蓝的眼睛》进行解读,旨在说明美国的黑人不应在白人的主流文化下无法自拔,而应该对于黑人民族的形象以及身份进行积极的坚守。
