Salt well 1 is located in the Zhujindun structure of the Yancheng depression in northern Jiangsu Oilfield and is a new exploration area in the periphery of Jiangsu Oilfield. The well was completed in 1991, but due to the prevailing awareness and technological constraints, failed to obtain valuable exploration breakthrough.
