(一)“局名待考”实乃宝巩局 陕西《钱币研究》94年12期张凤坤先生《也谈<局名待考咸丰重宝钱>》一文认为局名是宝广。其实应是宝巩局,理由如下: 其1,鲍康《大钱图录》中解说宝巩局咸丰大钱时说:“而粤人则谓,广东未曾使大钱。”鲍康亲历咸丰大钱行使时期,其说可信。当时的广东人都说广东没行使大钱,则何铸大钱之有? 其2,钱背穿右的满文是“巩”。满文字头字母含和字头字母(?)和字头字母(?)所含元音读音近似,分别同鼻音犭结合成(?)或(?)字,“巩”字可同样由这两个满字注音。也即,雍正钱和楷书咸丰钱上的(?)以及这里所谓局名待考宋体咸丰钱上的(?),都代表巩局。详见满文学者汪玉明先生《咸丰重宝局名待考大钱应为宝巩局铸造》一文对有关满文的解说和释读,该文发在甘肃《钱币研究》92年1期。而张凤坤只据自己直观现象说话,而不知满文的所以然,以猜测、臆度代替了求证。
