我县地处豫东平原、黄泛区腹地,全县共有56万多人,中小学441所,在校学生10万多人。几年来,我们坚持把农村教育工作的重点放到普及初等教育上,切实加强领导,狠抓智力投资,努力改善办学条件。全县中小学校舍、校容校貌、教学设备发生了明显的变化,促进了初等教育的普及、巩固和提高。1986年经河南省教委再次复查验收,学龄儿童入学率达99.8%,年巩固率达100.6％,普及率达99.98％,毕业率达99.95%,被评为全国基础教育先进县。
My county is located in the eastern Henan Plain, the Yellow River Pan-hinterland, the county a total of 560,000 people, 441 primary and secondary schools, more than 100,000 students in school. In the past few years, we have persisted in focusing the rural education work on universal primary education, earnestly strengthening leadership, paying close attention to intellectual investment and working hard to improve school conditions. The county primary and secondary school buildings, school capacity appearance, teaching equipment, significant changes have taken place, and promote the popularization, consolidation and improvement of primary education. In 1986 by the Henan Provincial Board of Education reviewed again acceptance, school-age children enrollment rate of 99.8%, the annual consolidation rate of 100.6%, the penetration rate of 99.98%, the graduation rate of 99.95%, was named the National Basic Education advanced counties.
