低温冷害对我省棉花生产是个严重威胁。一九七七年我们开始对棉花的低温冷害及其防御措施进行了试验研究和调查总结,现将初步结果整理如下: 一、花棉的低温冷害棉花产量的高低固然与品种、栽培技术有密切关系,但气候条件的优劣,特别是温度的高低影响极为明显。因为棉花是喜温作物,各个生育阶段的起点温度高,全生育期需要的积温多。如发芽的起点温度一般需12℃,早熟品种最少的也得10.5℃,现蕾的起点温度为19℃,棉纤维生长发育的最低温度为15.6℃。
