A report on the future of mathematics education, “Everyone’s Diverse,” is a report jointly submitted by the American Mathematical Sciences Education Committee and the American Mathematical Committee to the U.S. authorities. The original title of the report was Everg body Counts, published in 1989. The Chinese translation of the report contained Mathematical Translation Lin, 4th issue, 1989. The report comprehensively expounds the situation facing the current mathematics education in the United States, the inherent flaws, and the idea of reform. This is an important program for the reform of mathematics education after the “New Mathematics” movement. As we all know, the so-called “new mathematics” movement that originated in major countries in the US and Europe in the 1960s formed a powerful trend in mathematics education reform. Despite the setbacks in reforms, the call for “back to basics” has been growing, but it is positive. Meaningful and far-reaching
