最早被“搬”上外国邮票的中国运动员是我国足球运动员张宏根。1958年越南邮政部为纪念河内体育场落成,发行纪念邮票1套4枚,图案相同,上面印有张宏根在体育场上踢球的英姿。在外国邮票上露面次数最多的中国运动员是我国著名的体操运动员李宁和女跳水运动员伏明霞,他俩都先后5次被“搬”上外国的邮票。我国的乒乓球在世界上有很高的地位,我国乒乓球运动员的形象也多次被“搬”上外国邮票,如瑞典曾发行有蔡振华英姿的邮票;江嘉良也曾出现在冈比亚发行的小型张邮票上。举重也是我国体育的强项,马里曾发行有吴数德、赖润明形象的邮票;马尔代夫曾发行印有陈伟强、叶焕明形象的邮票。
The first Chinese player who was “moved” to a foreign stamp was Zhang Honggen, our footballer.
