岩芯钻探定向钻进和多孔底钻进要解决的技术问题之一是要有较好的造斜工具.近十年来,苏联岩芯钻探定向钻进和多孔底钻进的应用范围和工作量不断扩大;人工造斜技术有了较快的发展,定型了多种人工造斜工具;定向钻进和多孔底钻进取得了明显的经济效果.如苏联北乌拉尔地质队在第四矿区Ⅶ级岩石钻进时,用7个主钻孔,共钻出60个分支井筒,使钻探工作量由原设计的30400米减少到13483米,节约开支57.2万卢布,提前4~6个月完成矿区水文地质勘探任务. 目前,定向钻进是苏联地质部列为岩芯钻探
