在整个汉字发展的历史长河中,形声字于各个时期所占据的比重呈明显上升的趋势。从最早成体系的甲骨文字一直到今天所使用的简化汉字,形声字由20%增长到90%以上,由这一数字可以看出,具有表音作用的形声字在汉字体系中具有举足轻重的地位。由此,对形声字的研究一直成为学术界研究的焦点。本文将以《说文解字》为底本,从字族的角度考察形声字声符表义的本质。这一研究,将有助于我们把握汉字在发展孳乳过程中的内在联系性,进一步探索汉字孳乳发展的内部规律。
