烟草赤星病(Alternaria alternata)是贵州烟区常见的病害之一,在部分地区的一些烟田为害严重。据1973和1975年在贵定、湄潭、黔西等七个县早、中烟田调查,即将采收的中部和上部叶片的病情指数分别是6.3和11.1,个别地块可达50以上。赤星病对烤烟产量和质量都有很大影响。采收的烟叶在烘烤过程中,病斑面积仍可继续扩大,降低烤烟质量,影响烟叶的售价,据1974年调查,病级增加一级,售价下降0.12元。
