寓言是一种把深刻的哲理和教训寄托在简短、形象的故事里的文学形式。它是故事、寓示、寓意三者的紧密结合;具有寓意于言的教训性、连类比物的比喻性、犀利幽默的讽刺性、精练简洁的概括性等特征。由于寓言的以上特征符合小学儿童的年龄段心理特征的发展,所以寓言文学在小学低年级的语文教学就已经开始。如何更好地发挥寓言文学在小学语文教学的作用是值得关注的。
