The time-domain method was used to measure the nonlinear dielectric constant of Yttrium-doped lead (PWO: Y) single crystal. The crystal has good insulation in the external electric field not higher than 150 ℃ and not too high. The static dielectric constant is as high as 3 94 × 10 6, which is much higher than the peak value of the dielectric constant at the Curie point of ferroelectric.The time-domain spectral analysis shows that this kind of polarization is caused by various charge defects Of the local displacement provided by the time domain method can quantitative analysis of crystal defects.
